Here are some interesting e-learning examples that are publically available on the
web. Choose an example from the left column to see more information about it.

Instructions:
- Click Public Criticisms of Congress.

- In the interactive exercise, click on one of the small boxes at the top to pick an opinion about the U.S. Congress.
- Watch and listen to the criticism.
- Use the slider bar to express your agreement or disagreement with the criticism.
- Click 2 REPLY.
- Click PLAY REPLY VIDEO to hear a contrary opinion.
- Use the slider bar to express your agreement or disagreement with the reply.
- Click WHERE OTHERS STAND to see how others felt about the criticism at and the reply.
- Repeat for other criticisms.
What to notice:
- Contrasting viewpoints. Each criticism is paired with a thoughtful response. The learner gets both sides of an issue.
- Involvement. Learners are invited to express their opinions by voting on the criticism and the reply.

- Video for emotions. The small video clips show the gestures, body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice that reveal how speakers feel about issues.
- Noisy video. Speakers filmed on the street are hard to hear above traffic and wind. Motion in the background distracts from what they say .
